A guide based on 2024 activity data for adults aged 19–59. Age, fitness, slope and actual speed can change the result. It is not a measurement of your personal calorie use. Resting energy is included.
Body-related results are formula-based estimates, not a diagnosis or a personalized prescription.

Total kcal = MET × 3.5 × weight (kg) / 200 × minutes. Presets use the 2024 Adult Compendium values: walking 3.8, brisk walking 4.8, easy cycling 4.0 and running 8.5 MET. Speed ranges are rounded km/h conversions.
- What exercise did you do?
- Choose the activity and speed closest to your workout. Walking assumes a flat, firm path. Use the last option if you know the MET value for another activity.
- Body weight (kg)
- Enter your recent weight. Decimals such as 65.5 are fine.
- Time spent exercising (minutes)
- Enter only the time doing this activity, excluding breaks. One hour is 60; an hour and a half is 90.
- Known activity intensity (MET)
- MET compares the activity with a standard resting level: 4 MET means about four times that level. Enter a value checked for this activity, not a number guessed from how hard it feels.
